From Day One to 19 Years Strong: Shannah Seyfert’s Story

We’re thrilled to celebrate Shannah Seyfert, Director of Birth to Three and Therapy Services, on her remarkable 19-year work anniversary at Penfield Children’s Center!

Shannah first joined Penfield right out of school. “After my first interview I knew it was the right place for me,” she shared. Nearly two decades later, she continues to find joy and purpose in her work. “I’m still here because of the incredible people I work with and the shared commitment to serving our mission every single day.”

For Shannah, Penfield’s mission is more than just professional. It’s personal. “My son received therapy here for over three years, so I’ve seen firsthand the impact our services can have on families. That experience inspires me to show up every day and give my best to our team and the families we serve.”

Outside of work, Shannah enjoys getting creative with DIY home projects. “My husband may not always share the enthusiasm, but he’s a great sport about it,” she laughs.
