Spreading Joy Together: Penfield’s 2025 Holiday Adopt-A-Family Sets New Record

The holiday spirit was shining brighter than ever at Penfield Children’s Center this year, thanks to the remarkable generosity and compassion of our community. Through our 2025 Holiday Adopt-A-Family program, a record-breaking 130 families experienced the magic of the season—made possible by the incredible support of 76 sponsors, including community volunteers, past and present board members, and organizations who came together to make a difference.

This year, we were thrilled to welcome back many returning sponsors who have supported the program year after year, as well as many new sponsors joining for the first time. The outpouring of support from our community was truly inspiring.

Each year, this program continues to grow, and 2025 marked our most impactful year yet. Families from across all Penfield programs received thoughtfully selected, beautifully wrapped gifts that brought joy, comfort, and connection during the holiday season.

A Truly All-Hands-On-Deck Effort

While our sponsors make this program possible, the heart behind the operation is the Penfield team. This year’s Adopt-A-Family effort required extraordinary collaboration, and our staff stepped up in remarkable ways.

From the Partnerships & Investments team who coordinated every detail, to our front desk staff who warmly welcomed sponsors and managed gift drop-offs, to the colleagues who transformed their offices into festive storage spaces, and the staff who personally delivered gifts to families across Milwaukee, this effort truly spanned every corner of Penfield. It was an all-hands-on-deck project, and every moment was worth it to help make the holidays brighter for the families we serve.
