Penfield Shines at Reach Out & Read Wisconsin Annual Meeting

Penfield Children’s Center made a huge impact at the Reach Out & Read Wisconsin Annual Meeting on October 24, 2025, at the Epic Campus in Verona, WI.

Penfield’s breakout session was probably one of the most popular, if not the most popular. I hear there was not a single seat available in the session,” says a Reach Out & Read representative.

The session featured Penfield leaders:

  • Katie Ambrosio, Special Education Teacher and First Connections Lead for Birth-to-Three Services
  • Jayne Emerson, Occupational Therapist, Therapy Services
  • Tamara Limbach, Bilingual Licensed Family Counselor, Behavior Clinic
  • Kim Marcin, Assistant Director, Behavior Clinic

They highlighted the critical importance of Early Autism Intervention and Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health initiatives, inspiring community partners to strengthen collaboration, expand early screening, and ensure every child has access to the support they need to reach their full potential.

Attendees left energized and equipped with actionable strategies to better support children and families in their communities. We are proud of Katie, Jayne, Tamara, and Kim for representing Penfield so well and for helping build a stronger, more connected network of early childhood support across Wisconsin.
