Volunteer spotlight: Kohler Company

At Penfield Children’s Center, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day is more than a day of reflection—it’s an opportunity to honor his vision of equality and service. This year, as we paused to reflect on Dr. King’s profound legacy, we were reminded of the incredible power of community and shared purpose.

We were delighted to welcome a dedicated group of volunteers from Kohler Co. to help organize and beautify our space. Braving the cold, they worked together to prepare our center for the days ahead by organizing storage spaces, sorting toys and refreshing our community spaces.
