Volunteer Spotlight: Humanworks8

This holiday season, Penfield Children’s Center was thrilled to welcome a variety of volunteer groups to help prepare for our much-anticipated Annual Holiday Party. Among these incredible supporters was the dedicated team from Humanworks8, who generously gave their time and energy to assist with one of the party’s tasks: preparing 600 snack bags for the families we serve.

The snack bags were thoughtfully filled with a variety of treats for families to enjoy as they moved between activities at the holiday celebration. From face painting to crafts to the sensory-friendly rooms, there was plenty to do, and these snack bags kept the kids happy and energized to make the most of their festive experience.

As the saying goes, “many hands make light work,” and we were truly grateful for the efforts of the Humanworks8 team. Preparing hundreds of snack bags is no small feat, but their support and teamwork made it look effortless.

The support of groups like Humanworks8 helps make events like our Holiday Party not only possible but also extraordinary. Their commitment to lending a hand demonstrates the incredible impact of community partnerships and reminds us all of the power of collective kindness.

Thank you, Humanworks8, for being an essential part of our Penfield community and for helping us create brighter futures for the children and families we serve.
