Spreading Joy to More Families Than Ever: Penfield’s Adopt-a-Family Milestone
The holiday spirit was alive and well at Penfield Children’s Center this year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community! Through our 2024 Holiday Adopt-a-Family program, 107 families experienced the magic of the season, made possible by the support of 65 individuals and organizations who stepped up to donate gifts.
Over the years the program has grown steadily, and 2024 marked our biggest milestone yet. Thanks to our supporters, we were able to expand and support more families than ever before—an achievement that fills our hearts with gratitude.
Our adopted families represented all the programs Penfield offers, including Early Childhood Education, Milwaukee County Birth to Three, Behavior Clinic, Respite Care, Pathways Autism Program and our various therapy services. Each family received thoughtfully chosen and beautifully wrapped gifts that brightened their holidays and provided a sense of joy and connection.
