Kohl’s Interns Bring Energy and Heart to Penfield
150 Kohl’s Interns arrived at Penfield Children’s Center ready to roll up their sleeves and make a difference. With energy, enthusiasm, and a whole lot of heart, they transformed our campus through a packed morning of hands-on service.
Throughout the day, interns tackled a wide range of projects that helped create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for the children and families we serve.
Their hard work included:
- Deep cleaning classrooms, cubicle areas, and our Camp Wilder space
- Painting interior walls and exterior pillars
- Organizing storage rooms and cleaning conference room chairs
- Washing windows, vehicles, carts, and garbage cans
- Cleaning outdoor benches and refreshing the playground
- Pulling weeds and filling sandboxes
Every space on campus felt their impact. From the sparkle of freshly cleaned windows to the bright feel of newly painted areas, the interns left our campus looking its best.
This day of service is a reflection of the incredible 30+ year partnership we are proud to share with Kohl’s. Over the years, Kohl’s has shown ongoing support for Penfield’s mission. Their commitment to community and volunteerism continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of the children and families we support.
