#GivingTuesday was December 3 and our Facebook page and Twitter account were active all day long.  In celebration of #GivingTuesday, we officially launched our “Up n’ Go” Campaign, an effort to raise money to purchase an Up n’ Go Toddler Gait Trainer.  This piece of equipment helps build strength and balance for children with lower extremity disabilities.

With our fundraising efforts on social media and the help of some friends from SPiNMilwaukee, WISN 12 and WTMJ4, we spread the word and were able to raise $900 for our “Up n’ Go” Campaign.  We are thankful beyond words and posted some very special thank you messages from our kids in an album on our Facebook page.

While, we are extremely excited about the funds we raised and the awareness we built on #GivingTuesday, we still have money to raise to meet our goal of $4,500 by December 31.  Please visit our fundraising page and make a gift.  You will help more children, just like Mario, stand up and walk:
