WGirls Milwaukee, a group of young professional women who plan events and partner with local non profits that serve women and children, is hosting the 5th annual Bachelor/ette Auction on Thursday, May 15 at the Wherehouse with all the proceeds benefiting Penfield. By partnering with nonprofits whose goals align closely with their own, the WGirls work to raise money, volunteer and affect positive change in the lives of countless women and children in need.
Milwaukee’s most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes are auctioned off live in front of 500 young professionals, all in the name of charity. Guests bid to win a pre-planned dream date with a bachelor or bachelorette. The evening includes drink specials, raffle prizes, photos and dancing. Last year’s event was a huge success and benefited Meta House, a residential treatment facility that helps women struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
