Penfield’s Take a Look, Read A Book program is a new Penfield initiative that has been making a profound impact on our Early Education Classrooms and our community volunteers. This program, which is centered around the idea of sharing the work Penfield is doing through a fun  reading experience, has experienced great growth since its launch earlier this summer.

In September, the program welcomed numerous community members, among whom were Anne Gleischman, Valerie Jean, and Caren Goldberg. Our staff and children enjoyed reading the books the guest brought, along with sharing some of the classroom favorites. We expend so much gratitude towards our guests for taking time to experience the joy and wonder that fills our center everyday.
