Early Childhood Education
Our early childhood education programs provide high-quality preschool programing at no cost to qualifying children and families. Our Head Start and Early Head Start programs provide a rich learning environment designed to promote school readiness from birth to age five, fostering children’s language, literacy, and social-emotional development.
Our infant, toddler, and preschool programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and have earned a 5-star rating from YoungStar for excellence in early childhood education.

Head Start Programs
Penfield is a Head Start provider offering high quality early childhood development experiences at no cost for families with low-incomes.


Early Head Start
Center based early education program for infants and toddlers aged 4 weeks - 3 years.


In-home Early Head Start
Weekly in-home program for infants and toddlers age 4 week to 3 years.
In-home Prenatal Support
Weekly in-home educational program for expecting mothers
