Early Childhood Teacher

The Early Childhood Teacher is responsible for providing educational services to children within a classroom setting.  Classrooms serve children from infant through school age. Penfield offers both traditional Child Care Classrooms and Early Head Start Classrooms. The Early Childhood Teacher reports directly to the Director of Child Care. We are hiring for multiple open positions. 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required, Continued Education in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Childcare experience or having worked with children in a school setting.
  • Experience working with children with developmental delays.
  • Meeting vaccine standards as outlined in Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control plan.
  • Familiarity with the implementation of Early Childhood curriculum
  • Ability to lift / move objects of 50 lbs. or less daily.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to move- including bend, stoop, reach, lift and grasp.

Pay: $15.15 – $21.21 per hour
Day shift: Monday to Friday
