What families are saying

When services began, Avier was experiencing frequent tantrums, difficulty
being apart from his mom, and challenges expressing his needs. Through weekly, one-on-one therapy sessions, Avier and his mother were introduced to strategies from the Early Pathways model.

Sessions focused building emotional awareness, practicing calming techniques, and learning how to ask for help. His mom was also supported along the way with helpful tools and guidance to better understand Avier’s behaviors.

He learned how to name his emotions, express them in healthy ways, and rely less on challenging behaviors to get his needs met. He also became more confident separating from his mom and began building routines that helped him feel safe and secure.
