How to Volunteer

Community volunteers dedicate their skill and time to Penfield Children’s Center every day.

Teenagers, college students and adults of all ages volunteer as individuals and in groups to help in our classrooms and special care nursery, assist with special projects and coordinate fund raising events.

Fall and Winter volunteer opportunities are available for qualified teens (age 15 and over), college students and adults.

Penfield Children’s Center is named in honor of Dr. Wilder Penfield (1891-1976), a world-renowned neurosurgeon who strongly advocated early intervention for children with developmental delays and disabilities.
