Sendik’s Real Food Campaign – Promoting Healthy Lifestyles for our Kids

Supporting Penfield this summer is as easy as stopping by your local Balistreri Owned and Operated Sendik’s Food Market.  We are pleased to announce that Sendik’s Food Markets has once again chosen Penfield as one of the lucky beneficiaries of their Real Food Campaign.  Funds from this campaign will support Penfield programs including our new “Healthy Habits, Strong Kids” initiative that focuses on the importance of nutrition for kids with special needs.  Sendik’s partnership with Penfield promotes the health benefits of eating real food, and serves as a great example of how a local business can help build a stronger community.

Going on now through July 31, Sendik’s Food Markets throughout metro-Milwaukee will be selling lollipops and American flags to raise funds for Penfield.  We are also featured in the Summer 2012 edition of Sendik’s Real Food magazine.  All proceeds from the sale of these items will go to Penfield.  Last year, Sendik’s Real Food Campaign raised $50,000 for Penfield!
